How to import maps to UXPressia with AI
To import your journey maps to the platform, you must have a map image or screenshot in a *.png, *.jpeg, and *.webp format.
Notes:
The recommended maximum image resolution is 6482 х 2428 px. You can upload a bigger image, but it will be automatically scaled down, and the readability of the text might be affected.
The maximum image size is 10 MB.
Make sure you can read text on the image. If you are not able to read it, chances are AI won’t be able to process it as well.
If your map includes images, they won’t appear on the imported map (though we’re working on it 😉).
To start the import process
Click ‘ADD New’ on the dashboard or Tag page
Select the ‘Import from image’ option
Upload the image
Click ‘Import’
Wait for AI to process the image and convert it into a UXPressia map. Generally, it takes up to 2 minutes. We’ll send you a notification email when it’s done.
Remember: AI is here to help, but it’s your expertise that brings the journey map to life. Use the AI-generated map as a base, then fine-tune the details to align with your business goals.
Notes:
If the map doesn’t capture all the details you need, you can always add or adjust stages, swimlanes, or touchpoints once the AI has finished processing.
Suppose you don’t like the imported map (e.g., some important pieces of textual data are missing). In that case, you can always import the source map once again to get a different output, as AI will re-process the map from scratch.
