Starting from the Pro plan, UXPressia users can engage in a live chat with their personas. AI will impersonate your persona using information such as background, demographics, goals, motivations, etc. The more detailed your Persona is, the more accurate the responses provided by AI will be.

When to use AI-powered chat

  • Preparing for customer interviews

Use the AI chat to simulate interviews with your personas before interviewing real people. This can help you test your questions and detect possible gaps/issues in research plans.

  • Product development and brainstorming

Validate product ideas by discussing them with personas representing your target segment.

  • Validate your marketing strategies

Test different messaging strategies by getting immediate feedback from your personas.

  • Building customer journey maps

Ask personas about their experience with your service/product and draft your map quickly before validating it with actual customers.

How to AI-chat with personas

Go to the Persona panel and click the AI chat icon:

If you haven’t chatted with the particular persona yet, you can optionally select a chat tone (Friendly, Confident, Authoritative, etc.) and provide additional instructions:

Notes:

  • Other workspace members won’t see your chats with personas. These chats are confidential.

  • Chat won’t be lost when you log out or close your browser tab. All your and persona’s messages will be kept in the chat. But you can manually delete the chat if needed:

  • You can change the chat settings later on. The change won’t affect previous messages.

Note: The chat is in English by default, but you can change the language.
