What are workspaces?

Workspaces are separate working environments that let you create multiple independent teams and make sure that the projects they're working on are completely isolated.

Each workspace has its own dashboard, members, billing settings, invoices, and other settings such as integrations and branding.

Once you sign up, most likely you will have only one default Personal workspace. Unless someone else invited you to their workspace, in which case you'll see that workspace on the left pane of your dashboard.

shared workspaces

You can create an unlimited number of workspaces, but it's important to understand that each workspace has a separate subscription, so you will need to upgrade each new workspace to a paid plan before you can add any documents or invite new team members to it.

When should you create a new workspace?

There are a few scenarios when you need to have more than 1 workspace.

In most cases, all you need is to share tags or documents and assign the right access levels so that only a given group of people see this or that project.
