Customize a layout in CJM

Learn how to take advantage of customer journey mapping editor flexibility

Once a new map is created there is a set of predefined sections that are meant to make it easier for beginners to start mapping. However, it does not mean you can't customize this set of sections or the layout.

On the contrary! You should take full advantage of the editor in order to create powerful and visually engaging customer journey maps.

Click "ADD SECTION" at the bottom of the CJM editor and start using images and graphs to create truly inspiring maps like this one!

Setting default text and color styles

You can set the default font and colors for the whole map using the formatter in the upper menu.

You can also pick a color theme for journey stages in the same menu.

You can also manage text and color settings on the section and stage/substage level:

Note: You can also export your map or Persona as a PPTX file to present it in PowerPoint.
